Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake is the first Professor of Medical Education at the University of Colombo and a pioneering figure in the Sri Lankan higher education landscape. He is a senior fellow of both the UK Higher Education Academy and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and 150 conference presentations, with an h-index of 19 and over 1700 citations. Details.
