Walk-in Interview for Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS)

NILIS, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka is calling for applications for the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program, which is conducted in online mode with some lectures and assessments arranged on site. This course is placed at Level 10 of the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework. It is approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. The program is suitable for prospective candidates from overseas as well as in Sri Lanka. The medium of instruction is English. The course introduces students to a whole new world of information studies, enriched with experience in artificial intelligence, advanced metadata handling, semantic search, digital library spaces, and automation of library activities coupled with the traditional wisdom in library and information sciences developed over centuries.
