Walking Interview for Master in Teacher Librarianship (MTL)

NILIS, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, invites applications for the Master of Teacher Librarianship (MTL) program. The program is conducted primarily online, with selected lectures and assessments arranged on site for practical engagement. It is positioned at Level 9 of the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF) and is fully approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. Instruction is offered in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, subject to the number of applicants in each medium.
Teacher Librarianship
Teacher librarianship is a specialized professional field that blends pedagogy with information management, enabling educators to serve simultaneously as instructional partners and information specialists within schools. It focuses on developing educators specialized in information skills. These graduates can guide students in reading, research, information literacy, and responsible use of digital and print resources.
