We invite you to publish your paper at the NILIS International Research Symposium 2024. This platform will help you share your significant research findings with a broader audience.
The National Institute of Library and Information Science – University of Colombo, or the entity Famously called as NILIS, is a Higher Education Institute Affiliated to the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Both nationally and internationally acclaimed as an institution specialized in educating Teacher Librarians, it has contributed in a major way to Information Literacy Education and research.
Established in 2004, NILIS has been hosting its Annual Research Symposium for many years, with the 7th iteration scheduled for October 24, 2024. This symposium is a key component of the broader Annual Research Symposium of the University of Colombo, which this year is themed “Building a Sustainable Future Through Impactful Research.” The main theme for this year’s NILIS International Research Symposium is “Envisioning Tomorrow’s Libraries: Integrating Emerging Trends Through Impactful Research.”
In the past, our symposiums have had themes such as Research Excellence in Library and Information Science, Mitigating Challenges in LIS Education, and Protection of Cultural Heritage. The proceedings and details of past symposiums are also available from the Web site.
