Professor Indika Karunathilake to Grace NRS25 as Chief Guest
The National Institute of Library and Information Sciences (NILIS) of the University of Colombo will hold its prestigious 11th NILIS Research Symposium (NRS25) on October 30-31, 2025, at the University of Colombo. This year’s event, themed “Innovative Libraries, Inclusive Communities: Building Bridges through Knowledge”, will bring together researchers, academics, and professionals to share and discuss their work.
Professor Indika Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, will serve as the Chief Guest, adding significant stature to the symposium. Professor Eric Steinhauer from Germany will be the keynote speaker.
Participants can look forward to keynote addresses, technical sessions, and poster presentations covering a wide range of topics in library and information science. The symposium is organized with the support of the University of Colombo and aims to foster knowledge exchange for national development.
