Key Organizing Committee Announced for NRS25 Symposium

The National Institute of Library and Information Sciences (NILIS) at the University of Colombo has officially announced its core organizing team for the upcoming NILIS Research Symposium 2025 (NRS25), scheduled for 30-31 October 2025.

Serving as Advisor for this multidisciplinary event is Dr. Prasanna Ranaweera, Acting Director of NILIS, who will provide overall guidance and direction. The symposium will be co-chaired by Professor Ruwan Gamage and Dr. S. Ketheeswaran, ensuring the academic and professional quality of the sessions. Supporting the organizing process, Ms. Dilhani Munasinghe will take on the role of Symposium Secretary, coordinating essential tasks and logistics.

NRS25, themed “Innovative Libraries, Inclusive Communities: Building Bridges through Knowledge,” promises to bring together scholars, professionals, and practitioners to share research and insights that advance library and information services.
